Found Sheep >>
Years past my spouse relinquished the marital position voluntarily by abandoning me, yet they would not extend that privilege afterward. When pressing for answers, I was refered to something about a new directive in 2006 (from the GB, and orally, I guess) - go, figure. They wanted to see efforts in making up again.
My response: "Don't worry, I'll be happy"

Being asked how I came to know about the change weeks beforehand I replied in kind by citing to "know important friends in close proximity to the GB."

When going over passages of interest I ponder the question: How will the avid reader understand this text in 2,000 years from now?

Question for Dogpatch (Randy): What will it cost to produce the new 16-page Watchtower & Awake?
by Alfred inwhen literature used to be sold d2d, i remember how the society never missed an opportunity to trash other religions for "peddling god's word for profit" while boasting about how the watchtower only charges for the cost of the paper and ink.. in the book "witnesses of jehovah", the author mentioned that randall watters used to be involved in print cost analysis and determined that, while we were selling wt & awake mags for 20 cents door-to-door, it was really only costing the society 4 cents per copy to produce.
that's a whopping 400% profit!.
obviously, things have changed... the paper is different, as well as the ink and printing methods in general.

The cost of literature that we place in the field may be offset in part by donations to the Society’s worldwide work offered by us at the Kingdom Hall and by interested ones who accept it. However, when it comes to literature items we request for our personal use, including songbooks, Yearbooks, deluxe Bibles, and so forth, we cannot expect outsiders to care for our needs. Jehovah’s dedicated servants are the primary source of this financial support. With that in mind, many publishers estimate what these items might cost if commercially produced, and then they contribute accordingly. For example, a deluxe, gold-edged Bible can easily cost $20 or more, a reference book may be $40 and up, a full-color wall calendar may sell for at least $5, an encyclopedia on CD-ROM costs from $50 to $100 or higher, music compact discs commonly cost close to $20, and some videos are often sold for much more. A failure to contribute enough to cover costs will ultimately restrict what the organization may otherwise be able to accomplish in furthering the worldwide work.
km 11/96 p. 3 par. 6 / Share With Others According to Their Needs
It is my understanding the GB has arrived at the fulfillment of the sentence quoted last.

The GB for sure likes telling husbands what they expect of them to do.
What is the sound and balanced(?) advice coming from them? Your job to provide for your family is not as important as the meetings. We tell you to "choose what is really valuable".
Don't you realize how foolish it would be to choose for yourself a convenient way to please God?
Now I was under the distict impression Jesus taught differently. "Come to me, all YOU who are toiling and loaded down, and I will refresh YOU. (...) For my yoke is kindly and my load is light.” (Matthew 11:28-30) -

?!?
What are you all sayin'?
In a hundred years of tripe, disscussing endlessly the subjects of oral, anal, vaginal, and mammal obscessions, they never even touched on two conflicting opinions, whereby living under one roof is made impossible?
And women never leave men behind? ... what a strange, spaced-out and skewed belief system they have, indeed !
